Course Structure
Undergraduate study curriculum
of the College of Hospitality & Tourism provides a core around
which the
students can build to become a practicing communications people
upon conferment of degree or choose to progress to graduate studies.
The skills and attributes emphasized in the educational programme
go beyond the formal class room curriculum and include communication
and teamwork skills, computer literacy, design, ability of self
learning, etc.
The curriculum comprises 50% of core subjects, 25-30% of core electives
and balance of 6-8 subjects are of optional nature. While the core
and core electives pertain to the department, the optionals can
be drawn from any other discipline. Optional may be chosen from
within the department too. The aware of all undergraduate degrees
of 3 years duration require a student to complete a minimum of 180
course credits with a minimum of 1.75 CGPA.
