Rai OpenCourseware is yet another milestone in Rai Foundation Colleges's
quest of bringing world-class higher education within the reach
of one and all. With the Rai OpenCourseware available free on the
net, learning is just a click away for self learners who aspire
to add value to themselves and thereby for the community at large.
The opencourseware can be , if you wish simply downloaded from the Internet.
Educational institutions who wish to use it for their students can
also do so by only providing an acknowledgement to Rai Foundation Colleges
as 'Source'.
While most around us may deem this gesture as "generous",
We at Rai Foundaion, rooted firmly in values like "the more
you share, the more you have", are only trying to sow back
in society what we have reaped . Developement of humanity at large
is indeed a shared responsibility of the entire world; our contribution
therefore is just one more step.
The quality of our courseware reflects our best effort at penning
down what is being taught in our own classrooms at all our campuses
across the country.
We will also be launching shortly the Rai opencourseware in 10
indian regional languages so that knowledge can reach both to the
English-speaking and to the millions of Indians residing in the
remotest parts of india who too dream of accessing quality education
in a language that is their own.
By ensuring that interested students from all backgrounds gain
from Intellectual Resources, irrespective of their enrollement with
any of the formal degree courses of Rai Foundation Colleges, we hope to further
extend the scope of our ruling ethos of "Care and Concern",
without which, we believe, no sustainable development is possible.
